This morning we will take you to visit the Miraflores Locks to enjoy a Backstage VIP tour. You will enjoy an exclusive 2 hours’ tour through the 4 exhibition rooms with explanation and personalized attention use of hearing aids. There is an exclusive presentation in the theater of the CVM to see the movie of the canal. Then, we take you to the east wall of the Miraflores Locks with the control box in the background for a photograph taken by you. Following this very interesting tour, we take you to visit the Casco Viejo. You will feel set back in time as you see the lovely colonial houses, the narrow roads and the impressive churches. You will get a good idea about Panama’s history by driving or walking through the main attractions of this quarter. Early morning departure to enjoy Panama Rainforest Discovery Center, located on the famous Pipeline Road, one of the most renowned places in the world for bird watching. At the Rainforest Discovery Center, you will observe up to 13 species of hummingbirds that are recorded in our feeders. Continue the trails observing birds of the undergrowth such as manakins, anteaters and trogons. Go up the 40-meter tower to contemplate birds in the canopy such as the famous blue cotinga and toucans and visit the viewing platform by the lake to see aquatic birds like wattled jacanas, least grebes, herons, and snail kites. As well as birds you will be able to observe other animals like monkeys, crocodiles, coatis, and butterflies. A great experience away from the hustle and bustle of Panama City!
