Today, we transfer you to a rainforest center to enjoy three nature activities! The tour starts with the aerial tram ride that traverses a mile-long tract of Humid Forest that lies within the Gamboa Resort’s boundaries. The tram ascends 280 feet over half a mile and ends atop a hill. From here you will walk two minutes to the observation tower (which is optional). From the observation tower you'll get great views of the Canal, the Chagres River as well as the surrounding forested areas of Soberania National Park and the town of Gamboa. After the aerial tram tour, you will visit the exhibits at the Gamboa Resort together with your guide. Then, take a shared boat northbound on the canal where you might come close to some of the big ships that cruise the canal daily. Slowly you will motor along the Chagres River, up to the Gatún Lake protected area. Look for wildlife such as Capuchin Monkeys, 3-toed sloth, Howler Monkeys, various kinds of Toucans and other bird life. A must for nature lovers! In the early morning you break up to the Soberanía National Park. There you will walk a part of the famous track “Camino de Cruces” that connects the Pacific to the Atlantic coast. This historical trail was once used by merchants, slaves, European explorers and gold seekers. In the morning you will enjoy a nice and fresh climate in the forest and have the opportunity to observe many different species of plants and animals. The Soberania National Park is part of a biological corridor that goes all the way from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean. You may spot one or another monkey, sloth or tropical bird. Today we transfer you to a domestic Airport to take a local flight to David Airport. On arrival, a private transfer will bring you to the small mountain village of Boquete, home to an abundance of birds and often said the world's best coffee – Geisha – is grown here. Flight duration: 1 hour approx. / Transfer David Airport to Boquete: 1 hour approx. Overnight at Hotel Panamonte 4* – 1 Terrace Suite. Meals: B

Did you know that Panama produces some of the most flavorful coffee in the world? On this tour, not only will you learn about the history of the coffee in Panama but also see the complete process and end with a cupping taste. Each coffee tour is kept small and semi-private for an in-depth and hands-on experience. As you walk the fields you will learn about growing and processing of the coffee plants. You will also visit the roasting house where you will sample different roasts to determine your preference. Some days include a full hands-on roasting experience, where you can make a bag of your custom flavor to purchase if you like! Take part in the process of bringing coffee from the cherry to the cup during an intimate in-depth and hands-on experience at a coffee estate along the beautiful slopes of Volcan Baru. Duration: 4 hours approx. ~ Difficulty: Easy. Later, enjoy a unique opportunity to enjoy an elevated perspective of the biodiversity of Panama’s tropical cloud forest. You will go on a circuit of 6 suspension bridges covering a 4.5 km route through the treetops. The Bridges tour takes place within the private forest reserve, Rio Cristal, located in the Talamanca Mountain Range bordering La Amistad International Park (P.I.L.A.). You will be accompanied by a local guide who will help you know the lush flora and fauna of these protected forests. The suspension bridges range from 70 to 135 meters long and reach heights up to 75 meters above the ground. You will also go along 6 walking trails that measure from 185m to 1.5 km, reaching altitudes ranging from 1.660 to 1.827 m.s.n.m. The trails are of medium difficulty and can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Duration: 3 to 3.5 hours approx. ~ Difficulty: Easy to moderate. Today a private transfer will bring you to Volcan, closer to the Pacific side and the Costa Rican border. Mount Totumas, located 20 kms north of Volcan, is a cozy and comfortable Ecolodge located in an exceptional environment, in a remote location. The last hour to reach the lodge is normally with a 4WD. Transfer time: 2 hours approx. Overnight at Mount Totumas Cloud Forest Lodge for two nights – 1 Suite. Meals: B, L, D

Day at leisure in Mount Totumas. There are plenty of trails to hike and explore, some easier, some more strenuous!
