This is a project of a Costa Rican family, located 4 km away from Santa Elena town. Here you will enjoy a tour through the farm where different types of crops are cultivated, like: sugar, coffee, banana, arracache, or oranges. The guide will explain you the entire coffee process starting with crushing, drying, peeling, and finishing with roasting. 

After the coffee process, a typical cart with oxen will take you to the "Trapiche" where you can see the "saca de guaro" -sugar cane licor-, the process of sugar cane that begins with grinding, and finishes until the brown sugar is obtained.

During this tour, you will have the opportunity to taste the different derivatives of the sugar cane, and also enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. This is the best way to get to know a real Tico family and its way of living in this area.
