Enjoy visiting a beautiful, environmentally-friendly nature project located near the Arenal Volcano. There are trails and bridges that bring you as close as you could ever hope to get to the birds, flowers, and the lush vegetation of this primary rainforest. Once you are on walking along, you will be able to admire the great diversity of flora and fauna typically found in the tropical rain forest and also have the opportunity to see many different birds and plant species for approx. 2.5 hrs. You will be geared up at the Zip line operations center with all the equipment you need. From there, you'll head to the first canopy platform in an off-road vehicle, and after that, you'll take off flying! The zip lining platforms are surrounded by primary rainforest and great 360-degree views! Today, visit the Arenal Volcano National Park, an iconic volcano! We’ll trek for about 1.2 miles through different scenarios. You will also find an incredible viewpoint close to the volcano where you’ll find yourself stepping on lava flows turned into stone and views of the Arenal Lake and the landscape around as no other spot in the area. Your nature guide will share with you catching and interesting information about the place, the hiding fauna among the trees and bushes and of course about this impressive volcano. Duration 3h.~ Difficulty: Easy In the late afternoon, we pick you up again at your hotel for a refreshing thermal hot spring visit. You will enjoy a site with hot springs and thermal waters coming from a nearby volcano, with dinner included. Just the perfect place to enjoy nature and relax. We will enjoy walking in the Las Pailas trails, sectoring spectacularly showcases of the power of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. Fumaroles, geysers, bubbling mud pots, and many other attractions give you an experience that you won’t find in any other volcano in Costa Rica. With our bilingual naturalist guide, walk the 3.5-km Las Pailas circular path through the tropical, dry forest to enjoy the best views of the volcano, volcanic activity, incredible nature, and wildlife sightings. There are plenty of quiet pools along the way to appreciate the beautiful tropical scenery. Our special river tube rafts are designed with handles and protective bottoms.
