You will enjoy a great adventure on 4-wheels in La Fortuna in this tour. The ATV tour begins in a practice circuit where you can train how to drive safely. Once you are ready, we will drive through a small primary rainforest exploring a beautiful cattle farm. After this, our expert tour guide will take you to the Arenal River. On the way we will pass by a small town called “La Guaria” which keeps the “fortuneños” culture. There is also a chance to see a local church, a little school and you finish the journey in the Arenal River where you can go swimming and relax if you wish. Often referred to as the Hule Lagoon, this beautiful lagoon with 55 hectares in diameter is located at the base of the Cerro Congo Volcano, 11 km from the famous Poás Volcano. This area is renowned for its excellent trekking trails due to the variety of scenery and terrain from clay to dirt to volcanic rock and grasslands in a rainforest at 800 m above sea level. During the descent you will head into the exceptional rainforest of the area where you will enjoy incredible views of the primary and secondary lagoons. Along the 7 km circuit trail you will visit 2 of the 3 most important lagoons of the area, from 15 to 55 hectares in diameter. A nice trekking experience! Duration: 9 hours ~ Difficulty: Moderate. Breakfast and time to leave La Fortuna to continue to the highlands of Monteverde. This is the most adventurous and faster way to reach Monteverde. You will be picked up at your hotel and will be transferred to the dam in Lake Arenal where you will enjoy a 30-45 minutes boat journey to the opposite side of the lake enjoying great views of Arenal volcano and the unspoiled and tropical Lake Arenal.
