Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica and transfer to La Fortuna
On your arrival at the airport in San Jose -SJO- (not later than 2pm or you’d have to spend the first night in San Jose), our driver will welcome you and will take you to La Fortuna, a village located in northern Costa Rica and home of the impressive Arenal volcano. Transfer time: 3 hours approx.~ Overnight at Arenal Spring Resort 4* for three nights – 1 Jr. Suite (2 Full size-beds). Meals: None
Day 2: Arenal Volcano National Park Hike
Today, visit the Arenal Volcano National Park, an iconic volcano! We’ll trek for about 1.2 miles through different scenarios. You will find an incredible viewpoint close to the volcano where you’ll find yourself stepping on lava flows turned into stone and views of the Arenal Lake and the landscape around as no other spot in the area. Your nature guide will share with you catching and interesting information about the place, the hiding fauna among the trees and bushes and of course about this impressive volcano. Duration: 3 hours ~ / Difficulty: Easy Transfer back to your hotel where you have the afternoon at leisure. Enjoy the hotel’s thermal pools! Overnight at Arenal Spring Resort 4* – 1 Jr. Suite. Day 3: White Water Rafting Balsa River Class II & III
Get ready to enjoy an exciting activity today: White water rafting the Rio Balsa. We'll pick you up from your hotel and drive about 45 minutes outside of town to the put-in of the Balsa River where you will enjoy a great outdoor experience! You are going to experience water like never before on the Rio Balsa rafting trip near La Fortuna Costa Rica. You will might up with fellow rafters as we drive to the class 2-3 Balsa River. You will be able to see a lot of beautiful nature and get tons more adrenaline! The Balsa River starts off with class 3 rapids at the beginning and allows you to challenge your strength and newly learned rafting skills! Make your way through fun rapids like Rock Around the Clock and much more with the chance to admire lush greenery and exotic birds and animals as you descend down this beautiful class 2-3 river. To complete the experience, you will enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch after your fun day of adventure. Duration: 5 hours ~ Difficulty: Easy to moderate. Day 4: Transfer to Manuel Antonio
Today continue with a shared transfer to Manuel Antonio in the Pacific Coast. Famous for its National Park, the bustling little town of Manuel Antonio is located on the central Pacific coast of Costa Rica, very close to Quepos, known for its sport fishing and lively atmosphere. The region is a treasure for its biodiversity, attracting nature lovers, eco-travellers and adventurers. Transfer time 5 hours 30 minutes approx.~ Overnight at Hotel Si Como No 4* for four nights – 1 Superior room (2 Queen size-beds). Meals: B
Day 5: At leisure in Manuel Antonio
Day at leisure to enjoy the amenities of your hotel. There are plenty of optional fun, nature activities on land and water to choose! You may go for a walk in the trails of the beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park, enjoy a relaxing cruise, “fly” in the canopy tree top with the zip line adventure and more. Day 6: Damas Island Kayaking Tour
On this tour you will explore the wonders of the unique Costa Rican mangrove ecosystem. You will set out in the Paquita river, facing an island and float along the soft currents under a verdant forest canopy. Make sure you keep your eyes wide open so you can spot the uncountable bird species, reptiles, ant eaters and white-faced monkeys. While you silently observe this amazing habitat, our guide will offer explanations about the flora and fauna found in this incomparable region. As you navigate through the brackish waters you can catch glimpses of the island as you pass beneath tunnels made naturally from tree growths. A relaxing adventure, perfect for your vacations! Duration: 4 hours approx. ~ Difficulty: Moderate. Note: This tour can also be enjoyed by boat, in case you do not wish to kayak. Overnight at Hotel Si Como No 4* – 1 Superior room. Meals: B
Day 7: At leisure in Manuel Antonio

Day 8: Transfer to San Jose Intl. Airport
Depending on your flight schedule, we transfer you to the Intl. Airport in San Jose to take your flight back home. Transfer time: 3 hours approx. ~ End of services. Come back soon to Costa Rica, Pura Vida!
