Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica and transfer to Tamarindo beach
On your arrival at the airport in Liberia (LIR), our driver will welcome you and will take you to your private Villa/Condo in the lively Tamarindo beach. Transfer time 1 hour 15 minutes approx.~ Overnight at private Villa. Meals: None
Day 2: At leisure in Tamarindo
Days at leisure at your residence and beach. You may also explore surrounding beaches such as Playa Langosta (south), Playa Grande (north) among others. Overnight at private Villa. Meals: None
Day 3: Arenal Volcano Expedition
Early morning pick up at your rental for a scenic drive to La Fortuna. Explore the richness of the area that surrounds the majestic Arenal Volcano while hiking along beautiful trails, being able to observe from up-close all the beauty of the flowers, plants, trees and animals that have this rainforest as their habitat. Later, indulge yourself in the healing waters of the natural hot springs that rise from the volcano’s heart, in a breathtaking setting surrounded by dense tropical gardens that crisscross the entire property. Duration: 15 hours ~ Difficulty: Easy Overnight at private Villa. Meals: Dinner
Day 4: At leisure in Tamarindo
Day at leisure at your residence and beach. We suggest today going on a magical Guanacaste sunset cruise. Our captain’s great knowledge and experience will make you discover beaches and coves along the coast while enjoying snacks and drinks and doing some snorkelling or walk on a beautiful beach. Day 5: At leisure in Tamarindo
Days at leisure at your residence and beach. We suggest today go on a half day tour to a wetland nature reserve in the Tempisque River where you can observe an incredible number of tropical birds and wildlife such as crocodiles, green iguanas, coatis or the always expected white throated capuchin monkeys. Day 6: At leisure in Tamarindo
Days at leisure at your residence and beach. We suggest today go on a fun white-water river adventure. This outdoor activity takes place in “Rio Colorado”, a pristine river that originates from inside the “Rincon de la Vieja” National Park. The categories we offer include class II and III rapids, depending on the weather conditions in the Rincon de La Vieja volcanic mountains. The river trip is a 3km journey that is completed in approximately 1.5 hour. An unforgettable adventure! Please enquiry for rates and details! Overnight at private Villa. Meals: None
Day 7: At leisure in Tamarindo
Day at leisure at your residence and beach. You may also explore surrounding beaches such as Playa Langosta (south), Playa Grande (north) among others. Overnight at private Villa. Meals: None
Day 8: Transfer to Liberia Intl. Airport
Depending on your flight schedule, we transfer you to the Intl. Airport in Liberia to take your flight back home. Transfer time 1 hour 15 minutes approx. ~ End of services. Come back soon to Costa Rica, Pura Vida!
